This policy explains how and when we deliver, what to expect at checkout, and how shipping costs are calculated.

This policy applies to all purchases made at Lux Baby Shop, including orders placed in-store, online, via social media, phone, or WhatsApp.

By placing an order through any of these channels, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.


1. Delivery Coverage

We deliver across Kenya, East Africa, and to select international destinations.

All orders are dispatched after payment confirmation.

Shipping fees are calculated based on distance, delivery location, parcel size, and the courier used. Charges will appear at checkout or be confirmed before dispatch.

We use:

  • In-house riders for Nairobi deliveries

  • Reliable courier services such as Pickup Mtaani, Wells Fargo, DHL, and sacco-based transport services for other regions

  • Trusted logistics partners for international deliveries


2. Delivery Timelines

Region Delivery Timeline Details
Nairobi & nearby areas Same-day delivery Orders paid before 5:00 p.m. are delivered the same day. Orders after 5:00 p.m. are delivered the next day.
Other parts of Kenya 1–2 business days Orders are dispatched shortly after payment and delivered via courier, depending on location.
East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda) 2–3 business days Delivery times depend on customs clearance and courier routes.
International 5–12 business days Timelines vary by destination and customs processing. Tracking details are shared once shipped.

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

Delays may occur due to courier operations, weather, customs, public holidays, or high-demand periods. Where this happens, we will communicate proactively.


3. Dispatch & Tracking

Orders are typically dispatched shortly after payment confirmation.

Once shipped, you’ll receive an update via WhatsApp or email with your delivery status and tracking details (where available).

If you need your order urgently, contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.


4. Shipping Fees

  • Nairobi delivery fees are calculated by zone

  • Out-of-town courier charges vary by weight, destination, and courier service

  • International shipping costs depend on parcel size, weight, and destination country

Exact charges are confirmed at checkout or before dispatch.


5. Delivery Confirmation & Inspection

Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address.

Customers are advised to inspect items at the point of delivery.

Once a parcel is handed over and confirmed by the recipient, security personnel, or authorised representative, the order is considered successfully delivered and accepted, unless an issue is reported within 24 hours, in line with our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy.

If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address details or unavailability, an additional redelivery fee may apply.


6. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Parcels

While we take care in packaging and dispatching items, Lux Baby Shop is not liable for loss, delay, or damage caused by third-party couriers or transport providers.

However, we will support you in raising the issue with the courier service where applicable.

Any visible damage, missing items, or incorrect deliveries must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, together with clear photos, in line with our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy.


7. International Customs & Duties

For international orders, any customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees charged by local authorities are the responsibility of the buyer.

These charges are not included in our prices or shipping fees and must be paid directly to the courier or customs authority upon delivery.


8. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your delivery address before confirming your order.

Lux Baby Shop is not responsible for delays, losses, or failed deliveries caused by incomplete or incorrect address details provided by the customer.


9. Delays Beyond Our Control

External factors such as courier delays, weather conditions, road closures, customs processes, or public holidays may affect delivery times.

If this happens, we will communicate and keep you updated until your order arrives safely.


10. Policy Updates

Lux Baby Shop reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time.
The most current version will always apply.
